Local Re-use Shops and Schemes

The Recycle Warehouse at The Recycling Centre, Princes Drive, Leamington Spa will accept your unwanted furniture and bric a brac, and you can buy quality second hand goods. It will be a green showcase with information and displays about environmental issues. The shop’s income is ploughed back into projects to help people and the planet. The Loft Workshop in Stratford-upon-Avon is a furniture recycling project which also repairs or renovates furniture which can then be placed with people on benefits and low incomes.

Freecycle - The Freecycle network is a group of local email lists which allow people to give away items they don't want but that still have life in them. It works in a similar way to communityfreebay - the main rule is that everything must be free so no money, no swaps. We hope that both systems can run together and complement each other.
